Daily Outfit 7.2.24
This summer we are acting as if we are living in a J. Crew summer catalog. We are enjoying sail boats, coastal waters, bonfires, ice cream on a hot day, wildflower, tennis matches, riding bikes and catching fireflies.
So to be the J. Crew models that we all are, we are leaning into our linens, stripes, cotton dresses, oversized sweatshirts and keeping things simple, neutral (with pops of french blue or vintage red), and timeless.
Today’s outfit is peak 90s J. Crew summer and I love it. (Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy will always be one of my favorite style icons and she WAS the 90s). I went with a classic light blue linen blouse, paired with a simple fitted black cotton dress accented with gold. We are experiencing chillier mornings but warmer afternoons, so layering is key.
