How I Ate a Bagel For Lunch and Didn't Feel Guilty About It!
Yesterday I had the pleasure of catching-up with a dear friend of mine and it made my heart super full. We caught up on all things life and work and then she let me interview her to help me gather insights so I can continue to bring you the best resources and services I have to offer!

Food rules, restriction and why we put labels on everything we eat.
How we stress and inventory at night everything we ate during the day categorizing the good vs. bad foods.
How everything we do is based on what other's may think of us because we don't want to be judged or believe we are good enough.
The truth is, we put all of our power in the external thinking everyone and everything else has the answer to all our problems. But I will let you in on a little secret, the answers and our power is actually within us, already. Meaning, when we reconnect with our body and listen, our body will tell us exactly what it wants and needs.
For example, this week, Aunt Flow has come to town and she likes to create havoc when it comes to what I want and need.
For most of my life I told myself not cave. I was stronger than her and to keep following my hot new diet plan of the minute.
But then I started to listen and understand my body cues.
Like clockwork, usually 3 days before her arrival all I want is something sweet. I will be obsessed with eating something sweet until I have the sweet thing and can finally move on.
Then when she arrives she takes my appetite and everything is yuck.
Monday, when I was hungry for lunch I stood in front of the fridge and everything sounded awful. But then a golden light shone down on a delicious looking bagel and I was like "heck yes, sounds yummy!".
She takes my energy and keeps it for awhile.
So, later in the evening, when I was about to go get ready to workout, my body was screaming at me 'NO, it's time for rest'.
The point is, you can try and put all the labels and restriction you want on your food, body and life because you think you don't know what to do and need someone to tell you the exact thing to do. I am here to tell you, false!
The power to know what is best for you is within.
Your body will always give you the answer.
All you have to do is trust yourself and eat a bagel every once in awhile.
