101 Things in 1001 Days

Do you ever think about all the things you want to accomplish or all the cool new things you want to try, but when you start to think about all the things you want to do the list can be super overwhelming? Yeah, me too!

But this year I am really focused to take more action in all areas of my life, no matter what! There are home projects I want to tackle, wellness trends I want to try, tips I want to take and fun thing I am yearning to experience.

A few week’s ago I was inspired by one of my favorite home bloggers who created this idea of completing 101 things in 1001 days. I loved the idea of brain dumping a list of all the things I want to accomplish and then giving myself 1001 days (2.75 years) to complete as many of the items as possible. I love that the timeline is lengthy and flexible so you don’t feel overwhelmed with getting everything done immediately. To me it seemed like a fun and easy way to keep track of goals that fall somewhere between my daily to do list and bucket list.

I had so much fun creating my list (below) and I hope it inspires you to create your own. Make sure to check back to see what I end up crossing off in the next 1001 days.

  • Publish one blog post a week for 3 months)

  • Hire an SEO consultant for my blog

  • Partner with 3 of my favorite brands

  • Post on IG everyday for a month

  • Redesign my website to make it a reflection of my personal style and where I want my business to go

  • Start a podcast | Launch an interview series on my blog

  • Create and publish a cookbook with my sister

  • Create a media kit

  • Buy new blue light prescription glasses

  • Grow my following on Instagram to 10k

  • Grow my following on Liketoknowit to 1k

  • Catalogue all my blog post in an excel sheet (Completed June 2021)

  • Wake up and love my job

  • Figure out my professional passion

Health and Wellness

  • Try acupuncture (completed March 2021 and still going)

  • Try cupping (completed March 2021 and still going)

  • Try chryo therapy

  • Try infrared therapy

  • Stick to my morning routine for a week

  • Stick to my nightly routine for a week

  • Wake-up at 6am everyday for a week

  • Meditate for 10 minutes every morning for a month

  • Take daily vitamins for 3 months (completed and still going!)

  • Drink a gallon of water everyday for a month

  • Treat myself to a full spa day

  • Do a wellness retreat at luxury spa

  • Run 3 miles without stopping

  • Completely unplug for a weekend

  • Walk 10,000 steps a day for a month

  • Do hot yoga for a month

  • Be able to do 25 pushups not on my knees

  • Take a ballet class

  • Solidify my clean beauty morning and nighttime skincare routine

  • Try 5 new healthy recipes

  • Take a salt bath once a week for a month

Travel

  • Go on my yearly girls trip each year

  • Take an anniversary trip each year

  • Visit the Northeast

  • Take a beach vacation

  • Book a staycation with Ben

  • Take a trip with my mom and sister

  • Travel to Europe

  • Go back to wine country

  • Fly first class

Style

  • Clean out my closet and donate all the things I never wear (completed September 2021)

  • Better define my overall clothing style

  • Create a capsule wardrobe

  • Buy a new style of jeans I feel confident and comfortable in (completed June 2021 - straight leg jeans)

Home

  • Buy a bar cart for our patio

  • Redo Ben’s office

  • Invest in a new mattress (completed February 2021)

  • Invest in a new bed frame

  • Set-up a better home office for myself (completed October 2021)

  • Renovate our kitchen and family room

  • Renovate the upstairs bathroom

  • Buy two new night stands

  • Buy a new floor length mirror for our bedroom

  • Invest in a new couch for the living room

  • Add curtains to the living room

  • Buy a Gray Malin print

  • Add more family photos around the house (completed winter 2021)
