2021 Reading List

One of my most favorite things to do to help me slow down and relax is read. To me, there is nothing better than curling up on the couch with my favorite blanket and a good book. I mean, who doesn’t love escaping into someone else’s life in order to take a quick break from life for awhile. Sometimes you just need to hide in a good book and travel off to a whole new world. I do consider reading a form a self-care and I make sure to read (fiction or non-fiction) for at least 30 minutes a day!

For the past 12-ish years, I have been part of an amazing book club where I have met new friends and have been lucky enough to read some really great books along the way. It’s fun to read and discuss each book club pick each month and hear how others have enjoyed (or not enjoyed) the book. Plus, I love being able to enjoy a dinner with friends, sip on good wine and partake in good conversation. :)

Each year we pick 10 new books (no books for July (peak of summer vacation) or December (busy choosing our next year’s picks), and I always love to see what is suggested and ultimately picked by the group. We have read some of my favorite books to date and we have read some where I couldn’t even get past page 50. But i tried and learned about a new author and book and that is what matters!
