My Spicy Lime Peach Jalapeno Margarita
I have become quite the Casamigos tequila silver fan recently. It is so smooth and the taste is super light that it compliments ingredients really well.
Last Friday night Ben and I decided to have happy hour out on our patio. We listened to music, sat in the sun and just had some time to connect and not be in the house. I decided to make myself a margarita but wanted something that wasn’t too sweet and would allow the tequila to shine.
Let me first say, I am no mixologist and I like what I like. I have to Google a lot of things like what should be shaken vs stirred or what is bitters, but I have learned a lot along the way and it is finally starting to pay off.
So here we go, I hope you enjoy my recipe.
Spicy Lime Peach Jalapeno Margarita
Ingredients
1 shot of Casamigos Tequila Silver
2 fresh lime, juiced
1/2 jalapeno diced or cut into rings (remove seeds for less spice and more jalapeno flavor)
Peach Club Soda
Pinch of brown coconut sugar (optional)
4 ice cubes
Directions
Juice 2 limes and place into glass.
Add 1 shot of tequila.
Add in the jalapeno.
Add in 4 ice cubes.
Add in peach club soda till glass is full and stir mixing the drink.
Garnish with a pinch of brown coconut sugar.
Enjoy!
Note: To add a little more sweetness or make it frozen, just blend up some frozen peaches, strawberries or mangos with the other ingredients. You can also infuse the jalapeno into the tequila overnight and strain out the chunks for flavor only.
It was seriously so refreshing and perfect for sunny and warm days.
