20 Fun Summer Bucket List Ideas for Adults
“An amazing summer depends little on the weather, but mainly on you”
The other day I was scrolling social media and kept thinking to myself…"I want to have more fun this summer..”. Seeing everyone’s pool days, BBQ’s and paddle board yoga sessions reminded me how much fun stuff there is to do this time of year and I really want to soak it all in. Maybe it’s all the 90’s nostalgia that is back abringing up all my fun summer childhood memories, because yes, I’m a 90s kid, but sitting at home for a year (thanks Covid) really has motivated me to live more fully.
I’m thinking..what memories can I make? How will i take advantage of the longer days and warm weather? What means summer fun to me? What could bring more spontaneity and adventure into my life? How can my husband and I spend more time with friends and family and/or as a couple?
So first I stopped scrolling and put my phone down.
Second I brainstormed a list of 20 non-negotiable fun summer activities. To me these ideas are what summer is all about…warmth, laughter, community, fun, and a sticky mess.
