Tried this organic wine last night from Whole Foods and so good!

It’s been kind of a boring week here - hence why we tried a new organic wine!. The sun has been shining but the weather is cold and I am not here for it at all. I want it to be sunny and warm so we can be outside.

The exciting news this week is the Governor is going to start opening Ohio back-up and nail/hair salons, day spas and patios are opening back-up. It’s as if my Christmas wish has come true early. All I know is my hair needs a refresh, my nails have never looked worse (and I might have already made an appointment) and knowing we will be able to hit happy hour on a patio makes me want to cry. May 15th cannot come soon enough!

Here is what’s been happening lately:

Reading: Anyone else like to see into celebrities homes? I love seeing their personal styles and if what I imagined lives up to reality. I read this AD article about Tory Burch’s Southampton home and it spoke to my dream home heart. Beautiful!

Watching: I watched Making the Movie: Home Alone on Netflix and it was fascinating. Home Alone is one of my all-time favorite movies. I love the iconic house, how everything is so Christmasy, the actors, the dialogue, you name it, this movie is the best. It was super interesting to listen to how it got made and what the experience was like.

Watching Part 2: I also watched Becoming about Michelle Obama’s book tour. I started reading her book when it first came out but I will be honest, I haven’t finished it. It is on my read list to finish and the documentary has inspired me to do so. The documentary is also fascinating and to see behind the curtain into her life before, during and after the white house and hearing her perspective of it was worth the watch regardless of your politics.

Amazon finds: Here are a few things I am eyeing and thinking about purchasing. If you have had experience with any of the below comment and let us know what you think.

Wanting: This cute and feminine top, these rattan coasters for our three-seasons room, and this cookbook!

Movement: Still achieving my 30-minutes of movement a day. I cycle between going for walks, bodyweight movements, virtual dance classes, cycling and yoga. I honestly do what feels good to me that day and pick movement that feels good vs trying to burn calories. You can read more about my 30-minutes of movement here.

Wellness: As someone who has gone on her own health journey and lives with an Intuitive Eating mentality, I know this quarantine has been hard for some with fears creeping in of possible weight gain. This is your gentle reminder that your weight, what you eat, and your pant size is not your worth. Be kind, listen to your body and make sure you are nourishing yourself in the ways that make you feel good. I’m always here to help coach you 1:1 or if you want to lean into eating whole, nourishing foods that make you smile, we have been LOVING this new cookbook from Wha’t Gaby Cooking.
